How It Works

This calculator estimates brain age by starting with your chronological age and adjusting it based on lifestyle factors known to affect cognitive health: education, mental stimulation, physical exercise, sleep, social engagement, smoking, alcohol, stress, and diet quality.

Research shows that higher education, regular mental and physical activity, good sleep, strong social connections, a healthy diet, and avoiding smoking all contribute to a younger brain age.
